I’ve had a dream for many years to establish a school that utilizes positive reinforcement techniques, fosters an environment where students learn from each other as well as the instructor.  A place where dogs can come to spend time learning to play and learn in a way that is fun and easy for everyone involved.

Many times I’ve run into owners that want so badly to train their dog but have become so frustrated because they do not have the time or expertise to successfully work with their dog.  I took those experiences along with the peoples wish to never use forceful techniques and came up with the School for Dogs.

Since 1996 I have been working with my personal dogs as well as those of friends, family and students.  Many of my students became close friends and I’m grateful for their continued support and feedback as I pursue my skills as a positive reinforcement trainer.

In 2015 I graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy which opened my eyes to the amazing, and seemingly endless, potential for clicker training.

It is my goal to follow in the footsteps of my teachers and continue learning from the groundbreaking work of so many amazing trainers and teachers.

So, with the last 20 years as a foundation, I’m happy to open the School for Dogs in NorthWest Arkansas!

It has become a reality that I am now available to help all people and dogs of all ages and sizes.
