Nail Trimming Seminar

5 June, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Do you struggle with handling your dog when you try to clip her nails?

Are you afraid to clip nails because you don’t want to hurt your dog?

Does your sweet baby turn into a raging lunatic whenever you bring out the nail clippers?

These are just a few of the many reasons dog owners don’t clip their own dogs nails.

However, if you’re not taking your dog to have someone regularly trim their nails, they can grow long enough that it changes how the paw hits the ground.  This may not seem like a problem at first, but when you start observing the long term joint damage done by something as simple as long nails…you tend to think “maybe I should learn how to trim Fifi’s nails”.

Come join Family Friendly Dog Trainings very own Shanthi Steddum, KPA-CTP and our good friend Hannah Manasreh, professional groomer, to learn how to trim your own dogs nails.

Shanthi will teach  how to handle your dog in clear stages to allow and enjoy paw handling.  If your dog turns into Kujo, Shanthi will be happy to provide additional recommendations.

Hannah will teach safe nail trimming techniques such as where to trim, how to hold your dog, how to hold their paws

Shanthi and Hannah will also assist and demonstrate clipping your dogs nails.

Let us help you turn trimming nightmares into trimming success!
